Maker Guild had it’s own noise night this week for Maker Camp featuring: a KORG Volca analog drum machine and sequencer, littleBits Synth Kit, and DIY mystery boxes that play a tune when opened. There was noise! And soldering and tinkering! Best of all worlds, right?
KORG it up! David T. shared some awesome KORG analog emulators and a way to emulate a KORG synthesizer on your Nintendo DS.
We used this Instructable to make musical Altoids (and other) tins:
We deconstructed musical greeting cards, carefully removing the speaker and sound card/battery, and then soldered it up to a switch that fit in the tin. You now have a sort of detection device that lets you know whenever anyone peeks in your tin!
